Capturing Natural light

I definitely would’ve preferred a different subject to photograph haha (especially since I was bare faced as frig) but the natural lighting was so interesting in the room so I just captured the kind of effects I wanted as quickly as I could! I was inspired to think about lighting in my camera shots and how they can convey emotion after studying Seamus McGarvey’s cinematography in Anna Karenina (2012).

For these shots, I turned down the Exposure and the overall brightness but then upped the contrast and brilliance. (some shots more or less so than others)
